Chelsea Fought grew up in Columbus, Ohio always wanting to explore the great wide somewhere. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a self-designed degree in social media marketing and young adult literature.

She went on her first adventure by living in New York City after she graduated. She worked in children’s book publishing for four years as a social media manager for a few of the big five companies, as well as a small PR firm.

In 2018, she decided she wanted to attempt something new, which took her to Seoul, South Korea to teach English. She thought, “You can do anything for one year,” and now she’s still here, over three years later. This is how she learned she loves to teach, especially the younger preschool and kindergarten-aged children.

Here we are in 2022, and she’s begun her journey to obtain her teaching license, and hopefully open more doors in her future. Helro Chelro (헬로 첼로) is a place where you can see her work through her teacher preparation program, as well as take a look into her thoughts on life as she navigates her job, coursework, and general existence.
